A 44-second Motorola Razr 40 Ultra ad appears, gives us a great look at the phone

Motorola teases Dolby Atmos sound here, and usage of both main and cover displays. Motorola’s foldable smartphones usually allow you to take full advantage of their cover displays, and this time around it won’t be different.

Motorola is preparing some software adapted for the cover display, but you’ll also be able to utilize full apps on it, if you want. That does make sense, as this is the largest cover display in any clamshell foldable.

The company will include a 3.5-inch cover display on the phone, based on the specs that leaked. Having said that, a ton of information about the phone already surfaced, including its partial specifications, images, and even its expected price tag.

The phone will arrive in three colors, with two 165Hz displays

The phone will arrive in three colors, Glacier Blue, Infinity Black, and Viva Magenta. Its main display will measure 6.9 inches, and it will be a fullHD+ pOLED display. A 165Hz refresh rate will also be on offer. What’s interesting is that its cover display is also tipped to offer a 165Hz refresh rate. That will also be a pOLED panel, but with a 1066 x 1056 resolution.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC is tipped to fuel the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. The phone will allegedly include 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Android 13 will come pre-installed.

A 3,800mAh battery will also be included, and 33W charging supported. Wireless charging will also be on offer, but we don’t know how fast will it be. We’re guessing that Motorola will offer 15W wireless charging.

A 12-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 13-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The device is also said to offer IP52 certification for water resistance. As a side note, this phone will launch under a different name in the US, it will be called the Motorola Razr+.
