Amazon has started to do a second Prime Day each year now, in October ahead of Black Friday. And this year, it’s back once again. This year, it’s being called Prime Big Deal Days, and it will take place October 10-11.

Prime Big Deal Days will have discounts on all sorts of products, from smartwatches, to smartphones, to headphones and everything in between. In fact, a number of deals have started already. Amazon is once again doing invite-only deals, where you need to request an invite to buy it at a discounted price. This is being done to help keep products in stock longer, when the prices drop.

Currently, Amazon has a number of invite-only deals going on. Including the Blink Outdoor (3rd Gen), Philips 3000 Series Air Fryer, Jabra Elite 7 Active earbuds and much more. You can check out all of the invite-only deals here.

Amazon’s new hardware will likely see discounts

This week, Amazon is announcing new hardware at its annual fall event, on September 20. This is where Amazon likes to announce a ton of new hardware, in recent years they had over 80 announcements at this event. With products going up for pre-order right away and others launching later on in the year. So Prime Big Deal Days could see some nice discounts on these new products.

Not to mention the fact that Microsoft is doing its own Surface event on September 21. As well as Google doing it’s Made by Google event on October 4. There’s also talk of Samsung launching another phone this year, in the FE series. Could these all be discounted for Prime Big Deal Days? Probably not, but who knows. It’s an interesting time to do a big event like this, and it could be moreso about getting rid of stock of the old products. Like the Pixel 7, Apple Watch Series 8 and others.
