Android OS offers a ton of customization, that’s not a secret. It offers plenty of customization by default, but the apps are where the magic lies. You can truly customize the experience any way you want. If you find app icons too small, for example, you can create huge ones, thanks to the Giga Icon app. That’s the app we’re here to talk about.
The Giga Icon app allows you to create and shape huge app icons for your homescreen
The Giga Icon app basically creates huge app icons that you can use, and it gives you the freedom to control them. You can change the shape of these icons. You can make them vertical, horizontal, or square-shaped, whatever you want.
The best of all, no matter how large you make an icon, the quality of the image won’t deteriorate. How? Well, each of the large app icons is basically a widget. That gave the developer the freedom to offer customization.
The way it works is quite simple. You open Giga Icon, select which app you’d like to enlarge, and then place a 2×2 widget on the homescreen. Or, you can alternatively do the same thing from your widgets tray after you long-press on an empty space on your homescreen.

Once the widget has been added, and an app assigned to it, you can long-press on it to resize it. There you go. Set up as many of these widgets as you want, and organize your homescreen the way you see fit.
Some apps will look better than others in vertical and horizontal form, while all of them look great in square form, of course, but they’re larger. That’s basically all the functionality this app offers, it’s very simple.
