Motorola is one of the few manufacturers that include a built-in stylus with its devices. The Moto G stylus 5G 2023 is the latest in the company’s line of phones to bring stylus technology to the mid-range market. The company is officially launching the phone today, so here’s a look at what it is packing.

Last year’s Moto G stylus 5G 2022 was a very nice phone to use, had a very nice screen, and sported a nice pair of speakers. It’s a good phone to consider if you are in the Motorola ecosystem of devices.
Motorola launched the Moto G stylus 5G 2023
This phone is meant to be a more powerful contender in the mid-range Market. There are decent specs under the hood, and that should be expected.
Starting off with the display, this phone is sporting a 6.6-inch display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. So, it’s an FHD+ IPS LCD display. What’s also neat is that it has a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The displays on Motorola’s phones are usually high quality in general.
As for the internals, the Moto G stylus 5G 2023 is using the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. This is definitely a middle-of-the-road mid-range processor, and it should be comparable to the Snapdragon 600 series from a few years ago. This is backed up by 4GB/6GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expanded to 2TB via a microSD card.
As for the battery, Motorola is not one to skimp out on the battery capacity. This phone is rocking a large 5000mAh battery. Also, it comes with 20W charging.
The Moto G Stylus 5G 2023 also has a set of powerful stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos. The speakers on last year’s variant were very good, so you should expect great audio from this iteration.
Moving on to the camera, we have a dual-camera package. The main camera is a 50-megapixel shooter and that’s accompanied by an 8-megapixel macro camera. Up front, there’s a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Other features include Android 13 out-of-the-box, a water-repellent design (though, there’s no official IP rating), and of course, the built-in stylus pen. Overall, this phone will give you a solid smartphone experience with some great perks.
