The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is not official yet, but ads for the device started popping up on billboards regardless. This started happening in Europe, and the example we have comes from Bulgaria.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra billboard ads started popping up early
If you check out the image provided below, you’ll see a billboard ad that surfaced in Sofia, Bulgaria. Sofia is the capital city of Bulgaria, for those of you who are out of the loop.
We presume that someone jumped the gun here, as the global launch event is taking place tomorrow. There’s no point in advertising a product that is not yet official, of course. Teasers are one thing, but this is a proper ad with images of the device and everything.
Now, this billboard ad not only confirms the design of the phone, but its name too. It says it clear as day. You can check out the phone’s cover display here too, which will be quite large for a clamshell foldable.
It will have the largest cover display on the market, as far as clamshell foldables go
In fact, this handset will have the largest cover display of any clamshell foldable on the market. It will measure 3.5 inches in diagonal, and as you can see, it will even go around the phone’s cameras.
The Motorola Razr 40 Ultra did surface a number of times thus far, so its design is not exactly a secret. The same goes for its specifications, actually. Before we get to it, do note that the phone is rumored to be called the Motorola Razr+ in the US.
Both of its displays are tipped to offer a 165Hz refresh rate
Having said that, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 is tipped to fuel the phone. Its main display will measure 6.9 inches, and it will offer a fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) resolution, in addition to a 165Hz high refresh rate.
The 3.5-inch cover display will have a resolution of 1066 x 1056, and it will offer a 165Hz refresh rate too. You can expect to get 8GB of RAM on the device, and 256GB of internal storage.
A 12-megapixel main camera will be included, as will a 13-megapixel ultrawide unit. On the main display, a 32-megapixel shooter will be on offer. You can also expect a 3,800mAh battery with 33W wired charging, and yes, the charger will be included.
