Nacon is ushering in a new era for its RIG 600 series gaming headsets with the 600 Pro, which is now available for consumers in the US as of this week. It comes in at a reasonably priced $99, offering wireless gaming audio for untethered fun. The headset supports PS4 and PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile.

The RIG 600 Pro is packed with features. But there’s one feature in particular that tends to be heavily highlighted with every RIG release. The durability. The RIG 600 Pro is built to be a headset that will stand up to everyday use. Nacon says it’s “virtually unbreakable.” And although we wouldn’t say you should test that claim, it does look and feel like it would be harder to damage. I’ve been using it for a little bit in my off hours. And the headband definitely feels nice and sturdy.

In short, you should have no issues pulling this off your head any which way. If the headband bends a little bit, fine. The headset will survive. The RIG 600 Pro is also extremely lightweight. So no headset fatigue. Which is awesome if you play for upwards of 5 or 6 hours in one sitting like I do some days.

The RIG 600 Pro is available at Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart

$99 is a great price for any gaming headset. As long as it’s decent quality. And the RIG 600 Pro is definitely that. If that price sounds good to you, it’ll be available through Best Buy, and retailers like GameStop and Walmart.

The RIG 600 Pro is a dual wireless headset and that means you can connect it to two different devices at once. But this isn’t to be confused with simultaneous audio coming from both sources at the same time. You can for example connect it to both your PS5 and your mobile device. The PS5 would connect using the included wireless adapter, and mobile using Bluetooth. You can then swap back and forth effortlessly to the platform you want audio from.

Other neat features include a flip-to-mute mic which not only folds up, but it folds up into the left earcup so it’s out of sight when not in use. You can get this headset in both PlayStation and Xbox versions, and it comes in black, as well as urban camo and arctic camo colorways. The camo models are only available through Walmart though.
