If you’re using a streaming device, chances are that you have access to some sort of free content service. While that may be the case, Amazon has something for Fire TV users. The company just unveiled the new Fire TV app, and it gives you free content from more than 400 sources, according to the Fire TV Blog.

The Fire TV app gives you content from a bunch of providers

This is sort of a one-stop shop for different types of content. It’s called the Fire “TV” app, but it targets a wide range of content. You have access to several live TV streams, so you’ll be able to access content like live sports, the news, and more content.

Along with the live content, there’s also a plethora of on-demand content that you can watch through. There are a ton of content providers like The Hollywood Reporter, CNN, Taste of Home, MSNBC, Fox Soul, Tasty, Reuters, TMZ, and many more. It covers a wide range of content including news, sports, gaming, cooking, art, etc.

As you can guess, you’ll be able to access this new app if you’re using an Amazon Fire TV device. It should be present in your software, so you won’t have to go to the store and download it. You can summon Alexa and say “Play Fire TV channels”. If you can’t or don’t want to access Alexa, you can navigate to your Apps & Channels screen. There, you’ll be able to find the app.

This is a free addition to your Amazon Fire experience, so there are no fees or subscriptions you have to go through. Actually, you don’t even need to sign-up; you can just access the app and start watching content. That’s great for people who want to watch the content but don’t want to bother with creating a new password and all of the frustrations that come with that.
