Not too long ago, Carl Pei and the Nothing team announced that the company is already launching its sub-brand. Called CMF by Nothing, this company will sell more affordable devices under the Nothing name. According to Nothing (via 91Mobiles), CMF by Nothing will officially launch on September 26th.

Nothing already sells some pretty affordable devices like the Ear (1), Ear Stick, and the Nothing Phone (1). Even the Nothing Phone (2), which is a fair bit more expensive than its predecessor, is considerably cheaper than much of the competition.

However, it seems that the company itself doesn’t want to be known as a budget device brand. This is where its upcoming sub-brand comes in. Nothing will focus on making more premium and innovative products and CMF will focus on bringing more affordable devices.

CMF by Nothing will officially launch on September 26th

Carl Pei announced CMF just a few weeks ago, and it didn’t explain too much about the devices that it’s going to launch. However, there was a recent leak showing us that it’s going to launch at least three products. The leak pointed to a pair of earbuds, a smartwatch, and a fast charger.

The smartwatch is rumored to have a 1.96-inch AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of 600 nits. It could have IP68 water and dust resistance, several health trackers, AOD, a 330mAh battery, and Nothing’s proprietary software. The CMF Watch is expected to weigh in at Rs 4,500 (~$55).

We don’t have many leaked specs for the earbuds, but they might come with 45dB ANC to cancel noise. Also, these could be rated to last up to 11 hours on a single charge and have “Ultra Bass” technology. Since these are going to be an affordable RS 3,500 (~$36), we should expect them to have a pretty standard sound quality.

As for the charger, this is expected to be a 65W GaN charger. It will have two USB-C ports and a USB-A port. As for the price, it’s rumored to launch at RS 3,000 (~$36). At this point, we don’t know if the company will offer any more devices at launch. We’ll just have to wait and see.
