The Redmi K60 Ultra was expected to arrive with up to 24GB of RAM, and that’s what just happened. The phone got announced in China, and it actually has a lot to offer, spec-wise.
The Redmi K60 Ultra is now official, and it delivers up to 24GB of RAM
As you can see in the provided images, the phone is made out of metal and glass, while it has flat sides. Those sides do have chamfered edges, though. There are three cameras included on the back of the phone, all of which are a part of the camera island in the top-left corner.
The phone includes a flat display, which has a centered display camera hole at the top. The bezels around this display are quite thin. All the physical buttons sit on the right-hand side, while the Redmi logo is visible on the back.
The phone includes a 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display (2712 x 1220), with a 144Hz refresh rate. That display also offers a 480Hz touch sampling rate, and 2,880Hz high frequency PWM dimming. HDR10+ is also supported, as is Dolby Vision.
MediaTek’s most powerful processor is utilized here
MediaTek’s Dimensity 9200+ SoC, fuels the phone, while the device comes in 12GB, 16GB, and 24GB LPDDR5X models. Those variants include 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 flash storage, respectively.
Android 13 comes pre-installed here, with Xiaomi’s MIUI 14 skin. There are also two SIM card slots included here (2x nano SIM). An infrared port sits at the top of the phone, while the Redmi K60 Ultra is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX800 sensor, OIS) is backed by an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera (f/2.2 aperture, 119-degree FoV). A 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture) also sits on the back.
Xiaomi has also included an in-display fingerprint scanner here (optical), and a set of stereo speakers too. The phone does support 5G connectivity, and also Bluetooth 5.3.
A 5,000mAh battery is backed by 120W wired charging
A 5,000mAh battery is included on the inside, and it supports 120W wired charging. Wireless charging is not supported on the device, as expected.
The Redmi K60 Ultra comes in Black, Green, and White color variants. Its pricing starts at CNY2,599 ($357), but goes all the way up to CNY3,599 ($495), which is the price for the 24GB RAM model with 1TB of storage.
The phone will likely arrive to global markets, but chances are we won’t get a 24GB RAM model. You can also expect the price tag to be higher globally. Do note that the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 stole the show during Xiaomi’s event, in case you’re interested in checking it out.
