How many software updates will the Galaxy Tab S9 tablets get?

The number of software updates a device gets is super important, especially if you plan on keeping these devices for the long term. If you’re picking up one of these devices for the next couple of years, you’ll be happy to know that these tablets will get five years of software updates. This includes four major platform updates.

The Galaxy Tab S9 will launch with Android 13 out of the box, so it will be supported up to Android 17 X. The tablet will officially lose its software support in 2028. That’s a decent amount of time and much longer than other Android options.
