AUKEY’s USB-C Power Bank here is a 20,000mAh capacity battery pack that is also somewhat thin. Despite its capacity, it can actually still fit in your pocket. It’s about the size of most smartphones these days, though just a tad thicker.

As noted by the name, this does use USB-C for both input and output. But there is no support for USB-C PD, so you’re looking at a slower 3A output on this port. AUKEY does also give users the option of using either a micro USB or USB-C cable to charge the battery pack. On top of that, there are three USB-A ports that can do fast charging up to around 2.4A. That is definitely a good thing to see here, as you’ll be able to share some juice with your friends, if their smartphone batteries are low as well.

The AUKEY USB-C Power Bank is available from Amazon using the link below, it is currently priced at $39.99.

Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD

If you are looking to charge more than just your smartphone on the go, then this is the battery pack to get. This has USB-C PD or Power Delivery. Which means that you’re going to be able to charge larger things like your Nintendo Switch, or your laptop. It has output of around 24W, which is still pretty low for a laptop, but if you aren’t using it, that’ll be enough to charge it up.

This battery pack has a capacity of around 20,000mAh, which will charge your phone several times. And even your laptop once or twice. This also depends on the laptop’s battery size, and if you are using it while it is charging. So keep that in mind. This is not a small battery pack though, and definitely won’t fit in your pocket.

Anker’s PowerCore Speed 20000 PD is not a cheap battery pack. It comes in with a price of $99.99, mostly due to it having USB-C PD included. The bright side is, you get a 30W USB-C wall charger included, which usually goes for around $30 itself. You can pick up the Anker PowerCore Speed 20000 PD from Amazon using the link down below.

Jackery Supercharge 26800 PD

Like the previous model from Anker, this one is also a USB-C PD battery pack, so you’re going to get some powerful speeds here. If you are a Nintendo Switch owner, then this is a good one to grab, especially at 26,800mAh capacity. This does do USB-C PD a bit faster than Anker’s model, at 45W. That is going to be fast enough to charge a laptop while it is in use (as long as you aren’t gaming on it).

With 26,800mAh capacity, this is going to be enough to keep your phone charged for about a week on a single charge. It will also work for charging other tech products you may have with you. This makes it a really good battery pack to pick up and take with you when you are traveling. Jackery has included a USB-A port as well as the USB-C port. This way you can do pass-through or charge a second device at the same time.

One of the more unique features on the Jackery Supercharge 26800 PD is the fact that it has an LED display showing the percentage, instead of an array of LED lights. So you can see that it is at 100-percent, or at 24-percent. It’s a subtle feature, but definitely one that is nice to have.

Again, like the Anker USB-C PD battery pack, this one is not a cheap one. Coming in at $129. But, you do get a 45W USB-C PD wall charger, that is included, and that itself usually runs around $30-40 by itself. You can pick up the Jackery Supercharge 26800 PD battery pack from Amazon using the link below.

AUKEY 20000mAh Portable Charger

What a difference, right? The last battery pack from AUKEY was 20,000mAh like this one, but a whole lot thicker. So why is this one so thick? The biggest reason is the fact that it has a Quick Charge 3.0 port – which needs more room. It also has a flashlight built-in. So you’re getting a lot more features out of this one, compared to some of the others on this list.

With Quick Charge 3.0, you’ll be able to charge compatible smartphones in about 90-100 minutes. Something like the Google Pixel 3 XL would charge in around 90 minutes, and get you to 80-percent rather quickly. The other port uses AUKEY’s proprietary AiPower, which also talks to the phone that is plugged in, and sees how much current it can take. Allowing it to charge as fast as it can handle, up to around 2.4A.

This battery pack is pretty thick, it’s one that you will definitely want to keep in your bag. But it is a better option, as long as you aren’t looking for something thin enough to fit in your pocket.

You can pick up the AUKEY 20000mAh Portable Charger from Amazon using the link below. AUKEY is currently selling this for around $43.99.

Anker PowerCore 13000

If you were looking for a more compact battery pack, Anker has you covered. The Anker PowerCore 13000 is one that can definitely fit in your pocket, so your phone can charge while in your pocket. It also has a 13,000mAh capacity, which is pretty respectable for this size.

With 13,000mAh capacity, it should be able to charge your smartphone around three to four times. That all depends on the capacity of your smartphone, of course. This one also does not use Quick Charge 3.0, and instead it uses Anker’s own proprietary fast charging standard, PowerIQ. Like RAVPower’s iSmart, it will also charge your phone as fast as it can, without damaging the phone. And that is up to around 2.4A.

Anker has managed to include two USB-A ports on this portable charger, allowing you to charge your phone and a friends’ phone. Unfortunately, it does still use a micro USB for input, which means you would likely need to carry two cables around with you.

You can pick up the Anker PowerCore 13000 from Amazon using the link below, it is priced at $37.99.

RAVPower 20100 Portable Battery Pack

RAVPower has a pretty beefy portable battery pack here, coming in at about 20,100mAh capacity. That’s enough to charge your phone a couple of times, before it needs to be recharged. That’s definitely good to see, for those power users out there.

Included with this battery pack is a Quick Charge 3.0 port, allowing you to recharge your smartphone pretty quickly. There is also a USB-C PD port, which can take both input and output. This means that you can charge your smartphone with it, and charge the battery pack with the same port. With USB-C PD, you’ll also be able to charge your Nintendo Switch, which takes more juice than your smartphone.

You can pick up the RAVPower 20100 Portable Battery Pack from Amazon for around $45.99 using the link below.

Anker PowerCore 10000 PD

Anker has another entry on this list, and this one is a more slim option for those out there that need some juice, but don’t need something very heavy.

The Anker PowerCore 10000 PD is a 10,000mAh capacity battery pack that also comes with USB-C PD. Now, since this is only about 10,000mAh, it won’t do much to charge a laptop. That is also because it is capped at 18W. That’s still fast enough to charge your smartphone pretty quickly, but don’t expect to be able to charge your MacBook Pro using this one. At 10,000mAh, it is going to be enough to recharge your smartphone about two to three times before it, itself needs a recharge.

Wrap Up

Taking the right battery pack with you, isn’t a hard thing actually. But there are so many out there, and many of which are from brands that you likely know nothing about. Which is why we put together this list. These are all trustworthy brands, that are going to keep your phone protected, when you are attempting to recharge your phone, Nintendo Switch, or anything else on the go. Battery packs are starting to go the thinner route these days, which is definitely a good thing to see. Since new technology is coming out, we don’t need to carry around a big and bulky battery pack to keep our phones recharged.

You really can’t go wrong with any of the battery packs on this list. But we are a bit impartial to the Anker PowerCore 10000 PD, since it is pretty slim, and does also support USB-C PD.
