Two more phones with up to 24GB of RAM are launching within a week. As some of you may know, the first was the RedMagic 8S Pro, which launched at the beginning of July. That phone is also available globally, but only in China it offers up to 24GB of RAM. Globally it’s limited to 16GB of RAM.

Two phones with up to 24GB of RAM are right around the corner

The other two devices that are coming, and will offer up to 24GB of RAM, are the Redmi K60 Ultra and OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. Do note that the variant of the RedmI K60 Ultra with 24GB of RAM will be called ‘Extreme Edition’.

Both of those phones are coming to China first, and we’ll see where else will they launch afterwards. The question is if 24GB RAM models will stay exclusive to China, though. That is actually quite likely.

In any case, both of these phones will be quite powerful, and we do have some details already. Before we get down to specs, do note that the Redmi K60 Ultra will launch on August 14, the same day as the Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, on the other hand, is coming on August 16.

The Redmi K60 Ultra will be fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC. It will have a flat AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Three cameras will sit on the back, with a 50-megapixel main unit. It will also offer up to 1TB of storage. Glass back has also been confirmed. You can see the device in the image below.

Redmi K60 Ultra design

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, on the flip side, will also offer up to 1TB of storage. It will incorporate LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage. It will likely be available in more RAM options, though, starting with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM.

A 6.74-inch OLED display is expected, with a 1.5K resolution, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness will be 1,600 nits. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will fuel this phone. A 5,000mAh battery is also expected, as is 150W charging.

The OnePlus 11T will probably be a rebranded OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, if it launches at all. You can check out the phone’s image below.
