The Ulefone Armor 22 is the company’s upcoming smartphone, which just got durability tested. This phone will be released soon, following its announcement. While we wait for that, you can check out the video below.
The Ulefone Armor 22 gets durability tested, just in time for its release
The embedded video has a duration of around two minutes, and it presents some interesting and fun durability tests, actually. Ulefone has been compiling such videos for a long time, and they’re always fun to watch.
This smartphone is IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810G certified. That’s something worth noting before we get down to the details. Now, if you check out the video itself, you’ll see a bunch of different tests meshed up together.
First, the company threw a block of ice on the phone, to smash the ice. Then it essentially used the Armor 22 as a hammer, to crush some walnuts, and Ulefone even decided to light up a piece of paper on top of this phone.

One of the tests even includes a drill, and the company actually threw the Armor 22 in a very shallow puddle, screen-down. As if that’s not enough, the company wanted to prove that you can freeze this phone too, so it did.
One thing is for sure, the Ulefone Armor 22 is one tough cookie. Ulefone also decided to share some specs with us, as we’re waiting for the phone to become official.
The Ulefone Armor 22 will feature a 6.58-inch fullHD+ (2408 x 1080) display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The company says that it will also have a “comfortable hand grip”.
Two 64-megapixel cameras sit on the back of this thing
MediaTek’s Helio G96 SoC will fuel this device, while you’ll get a 64-megapixel main camera on the back. A 64-megapixel night vision camera will also be included, and two IR LEDs as well.
The phone will offer 8GB of RAM, though you’ll be able to add 8GB more (virtual RAM). Both 128GB and 256GB storage variants will be on offer. A 6,600mAh battery was also mentioned, as was 33W wired charging. The charger will be included.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on the device. This handset will become available to purchase via AliExpress starting on September 18. So, the launch is right around the corner.
