Now, an update coming to the Android app will bring users the ability to share original quality pictures and videos while chatting.

WABetaInfo has been able to spot some changes coming to WhatsApp soon. According to their findings, this feature is currently under development and will help users send better pictures and videos. With the WhatsApp beta Android 2.23.18.12 update comes the ability to share original quality pictures and videos.
Currently, to share original quality pictures and videos, users will have to send them as documents. But with this upgrade, users will be able to share pictures and videos in their original quality directly from their gallery. This will be more convenient for users as it will not require them to take a ton of steps before sharing.
WhatsApp is taking media sharing via their app a bit more seriously. Already, the company is giving its users the ability to share media with others in HD quality. This feature is already available for many users worldwide, and it helps step up the image quality by a little.
While the HD picture-sharing quality is impressive, it still doesn’t give users full quality. However, this new feature that is currently under development will be able to let users share pictures and videos in original quality. While this feature is available on WhatsApp for Android beta updates, it will also roll out for iOS devices.
