It’s the most expensive Galaxy Note 10 screen protector you’ll ever buy, but it is worth the cash.

A screen protector is one of those accessories that is a must-buy, for the Galaxy Note 10. No matter which variant you are buying. This is because the Galaxy Note 10 starts at $949. And it’s going to cost a pretty penny to replace that screen, should it get shattered. While we don’t know how much it’ll cost to replace on the Note 10, we have seen it cost upwards of $250 on the Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy S10.
So spending $50 on a screen protector is protecting your investment.
Tempered Glass > Plastic
We’ve known for a long time that Tempered Glass screen protectors are much better than plastic ones. Even though they do cost a bit more than the plastic ones that you can get on Amazon for a few pennies (literally, in some cases). Tempered glass feels more natural to the finger when you are scrolling through pages on your phone and so forth.

Tempered Glass screen protectors are also more resistant to drops and shattering. Not to mention fingerprints and scratches. Those plastic ones are made from high-quality Japanese PET film, and hold onto fingerprints more-so than the glass back of the Galaxy Note 10. They also get scratches very easily. This isn’t a surprise though. Plastic is softer than glass, thus scratches are easier to appear on plastic screen protectors than tempered glass ones.

Tempered Glass screen protectors and curved displays don’t usually play well together
Most other tempered glass screen protectors on the market are okay for curved displays, but there’s one big issue. They don’t cover the sides of the display. Glass doesn’t bend very easily. So taking a tempered glass screen protector out of the box and putting it onto your smartphone with a curved display, doesn’t work all that well. Even those edges that are typically tough to cover.
Those edges are what usually gets all of the scratches too. It’s also what hits the ground when you drop your phone. Phones usually land on the side, when they are dropped. When you get your Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector, you may be surprised at how much is included in the box. It’s not your typical screen protector. And that $50 price you’re paying, is mostly going to pay for the UV light that is included in the box.
Before you start installing the screen protector, you’re going to want to make sure that you read the directions completely. As the instructions are quite long, and they are also very detailed. If you don’t read them, you could miss a step and end up messing things up. That could end with you essentially flushing $50 down the drain.
It’ll take a little while to install the screen protector onto the Galaxy Note 10, but it’s definitely worth the time and money in the long run.

It’s the only tempered glass solution that works with the Ultrasonic Fingerprint sensor
Finally, perhaps the most important reason to use the Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector, is the in-display fingerprint sensor. Unlike other smartphones, which use a capacitive sensor, Samsung uses an Ultrasonic sensor. It’s better, but also newer tech. And with newer tech comes some drawbacks. One of those being that you can’t use the tempered glass screen protector on the phone and still use the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor.
In fact, the screen protector that Samsung ships pre-installed on the Galaxy Note 10 (it also did this with the Galaxy S10 earlier this year), has a cut out for the fingerprint sensor. Which looks pretty ugly. Luckily, Whitestone was able to get around that, and their’s works fine with the sensor.
If you want to protect that Galaxy Note 10 and still use that in-display fingerprint sensor, then this is the screen protector to get.
Wrap Up
Normally, we would list out around ten different screen protectors that you can get and use for the Galaxy Note 10 – we did it for the Galaxy S10 too. But this time around, we figured it wasn’t worth it. All of the other options are much cheaper, but offer a much worse experience.
