It’s now official, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch globally on June 12. A recent report suggested that the phone may arrive on June 7, and it was based on information for Hong Kong. It turns out that info was Hong Kong specific, and didn’t have much to do with other markets.

Well, now we have an official confirmation from Europe. On Xiaomi’s official website in France, you can find a teaser for the upcoming launch. The website clearly states that the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will launch on June 12.

Xiaomi also notes that an ‘introductory offer’ will be available from June 12 to June 21. Considering this info is based on machine translation, this could mean two things. It could mean the phone will be available to pre-order in that time span, or that it will be available at a cheaper price/with additional goodies in that time span. Well, or both.

One thing is for sure, though, the phone will be made official on June 12. Considering this is France we’re talking about, chances are we’re looking at a date for a proper global launch. Other European markets will be included here for sure.

We already know everything there is to know about this phone, well, other than its global price tag. We’ve already reviewed the phone, albeit with a software build made for China. The global model will, of course, include global software.

The device will be expensive outside of China

The phone is tipped to cost way over €1,000 in Europe, it all depends on which source you end up believing. One source said it’ll cost €1,499, while the other was a bit more optimistic, claiming a price tag in the region of €1,270.

Either way, these price tags are considerably higher than what we’ve seen in China. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s starting price tag in China is CNY5,999 ($850/€792). So, no matter what way you spin it, the phone will cost a lot more outside of Xiaomi’s homeland.
