The Xiaomi 14 series is expected to arrive later this year. Details about both the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro have started coming in, and the latest piece of info details their periscope cameras.
This information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known Chinese tipster. Based on his info, both of these phones will include periscope telephoto cameras. As expected, though, the ‘Pro’ model will offer a better setup.

He claims that the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer a telephoto periscope camera with optical zoom up to 5x, and a 115mm focal length. The Xiaomi 14, on the other hand, will have a periscope telephoto camera with an optical zoom capability of 3.9x, and a 90mm focal length.
He did not touch upon any other specs, not even the other cameras on the two phones. Well, a recent rumor hinted that Xiaomi plans to stick with a 1-inch camera sensor inside the Xiaomi 14 Pro. It’s possible that it will be included in the Xiaomi 14 too, as it was not in the Xiaomi 13.
Xiaomi will almost certainly once again include Sony’s IMX989 camera sensor, a 50-megapixel unit that has been used in both the Xiaomi 13 Pro and Xiaomi 13 Ultra. An ultrawide camera will also sit on the back of both devices, but we don’t have the details just yet.
Both devices are rumored to utilize a 5,000mAh battery. The Xiaomi 14 could end up offering 90W charging, while the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer 120W wired charging. Both smartphones will most likely end up offering 50W wireless charging too.
Both devices will include 120Hz OLED displays, and uniform bezels
You can expect 120Hz OLED displays on both models, and much more than that. Xiaomi will most likely retain display camera holes on both smartphones, though it seems to be ready to trim the bezels even further.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro, at least, will have uniform bezels, but we’re expecting the Xiaomi 14 to get the same treatment. This is what the Xiaomi 14 Pro is expected to look like.
These two devices will launch in either November or December this year, in China. Their global variants will likely follow in Q1 2024.
